Linux powers everything from smart devices to servers to supercomputers, and it is one of the most in-demand IT skills nationwide.

CompTIA Linux+ certification demonstrates that you have the knowledge and skills to configure and support servers running the Linux operating system.

According to CompTIA, the Linux+ exam “covers common tasks in major distributions of Linux, including the Linux command line, basic maintenance, installing and configuring workstations, and networking.”

The course includes coverage of the material on the exam, along with practice testing.

While not required, CompTIA recommends that Linux+ candidates have Network+ certification and 12 months of Linux administration experience.
