Effective April 14, 2023, the Online Flex program has been renamed. It is now called "Self-Study."

We are excited to announce that the popular Paralegal Certificate Program is now available anywhere, any time, on your schedule!

When you register for the Paralegal Certificate Program, you can now choose from three formats: online, live lecture or "Online Flex."

The new Online Flex format is open enrollment, so you can start the program at any time. Once you start, you have six months to complete the program. Within that six month period, you can work completely at your own pace.

How the Online Flex Paralegal Program Works

Online Flex is a self-paced version of the existing online Paralegal Certificate Program. Same training, just a different learning format.

With 90 clock hours of training and a Certificate of Completion from the University of Arizona, you will gain the knowledge and skills you need to launch a new career as a Paralegal.

Even though you're working at your own pace, you'll have access to an instructor who can answer questions and provide feedback.

The big difference is: in the regular Paralegal Certificate Program, you are required to complete weekly assignments and activities on a specific schedule. In the Online Flex format, you can work completely at your own pace. As long as you complete all the course activities within six months, you will earn your Certificate of Completion.

Plus, the Online Flex format allows you to start learning start any time. You don't need to wait for the next scheduled Paralegal course start date.

Why the New Format?

We know that learners have different schedules and learning styles. That's why our programs are offered in a variety of formats, from completely self-paced to live instructor-led programs.

Self-paced courses can be a good option for those with family, work, or other commitments that prevent them from attending scheduled classes.

Self-paced courses also offer flexibility. Some learners may want to complete the program quickly, while others might need to work more slowly. 

The new format also allows learners to start learning right away, without waiting for a scheduled class to start.
