AutoCAD Self-Paced Online Training
Learn AutoCAD online, at your own pace.
What is Included
Each course includes:
- Three months of access to course materials
- Video lectures and demonstrations
- Manuals
- Participants will also be able to receive a free AutoCAD license from Autodesk at the time of enrollment. Instructions on how to do this will be included with their enrollment instructions.
Upon successful completion of a course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from University of Arizona Continuing & Professional Education.
Class Schedule and Format
All of these courses are fully online and self-paced. You will not have scheduled assignments or scheduled class meeting times. You will be able to access online suppport via discussion groups and email.
These are open enrollment courses, meaning you can register and start learning any time. Once you register, you will have 3 months to complete the training program.
Available Classes
AutoCAD 1 - Basic 2D
Learn the basic 2D features of the latest versions of AutoCAD. This introductory course covers drawing setup, basic construction and editing tools, layer management, object properties, basic annotation with text and dimensions, and an introduction to layouts and plotting.
AutoCAD 2 - Advanced 2D
Prerequisite: AutoCAD 1 or equivalent knowledge
Learn the advanced 2D features of the latest versions of AutoCAD. This course covers paper space detailing, multiple layout setup, advanced dimension techniques, blocks and symbol libraries, tables and schedules, attributes, dynamic blocks and parameters, and external references.
AutoCAD 3 - Basic 3D Modeling
Prerequisite: AutoCAD 2 or equivalent knowledge
Learn the advanced 3D modeling techniques and basic rendering tools for the latest versions of AutoCAD. This course covers 3D editing tools, advanced solid modeling techniques, surface and mesh modeling methods, and basic render procedures including render settings, camera views, and an introduction to render materials.
AutoCAD Fundamentals Certificate
The AutoCAD Fundamentals Certificate bundles together the AutoCAD 1, 2 and 3 courses at a lower price than taking each course individually. You will have access to the courses for 9 months. Learn more about AutoCAD Fundamentals.
