What is the NielsenIQ Retail Measurement Systems and Analytics Certification?

The NielsenIQ Retail Measurement Systems and Analytics Certification teaches you how to use NielsenIQ's Retail Measurement Services (RMS) platform to analyze point-of-sale data and develop actionable business recommendations. RMS is the industry-standard tool for measuring sales performance, market share, distribution, promotional effectiveness, and pricing across retail channels.

This course is built around practical application. You will work with real NielsenIQ tools, data sets, and analytical methods across six sequential modules. Four hands-on challenges simulate actual business scenarios, and the course concludes with a proctored certification exam. A score of 80% or higher is required for certification. All assessments can be retaken an unlimited number of times.

Learners who successfully complete the course receive a digital Certificate of Completion from Arizona Online. A printed certificate is available upon request. This micro-credential does not provide academic credit toward a degree program.

Those who successfully complete this program are eligible to apply for the NACP Provisional Credential. Those with experience in victim advocacy may be able to apply for a Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Credential based upon their experience in the field. 

Class Schedule and Format

This noncredit professional development program includes 45 clock hours of training.

The course is fully online, and you can work at your own pace to complete the course activities each week. You do not need to be online at any particular time to complete your course work. You will interact with the instructor via email and an online discussion board.

You will be expected to spend an average of at least 8 hours per week completing course activities. Course activities include reading assignments, writing assignments, exams and online discussions.

The University of Arizona Basic Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) course equips food manufacturers, food safety professionals and food scientists/technologists with the knowledge and skills to develop and implement food safety programs.

The content of this course is accredited by the International HACCP Alliance.

Why Get HACCP Certification?

HACCP is the internationally recognized system to identify and manage food safety-related risk. HACCP addresses food safety through the analysis and control of physical, biological and chemical hazards, from raw material production to manufacturing, distribution and consumption. 

Federal food safety regulations for meat and poultry mandate that each manufacturer must rely on a trained individual who has received instruction in the application of HACCP principles. Those trained individuals must perform a periodic reassessment of the ongoing adequacy of the HACCP plan.

This course directly fulfills these regulatory expectations, as well as provides additional practical and technical instruction to assist food manufacturers in producing safe product.

   Basic HACCP Class Schedule

     Basic HACCP is offered twice a year, in the spring and fall semesters.

Special attention will be placed on developing a HACCP plan, as well as when and how to conduct a record review.

This course is appropriate for anyone wanting to better understand HACCP, especially individuals who either are working or want to work in any aspect of food production, distribution, or preparation.  

There are no prerequisites for this course, and no application is required.

Developed by leading gerontologists and professional experts, the Advanced Care of Older Adults Certificate offers health professionals an opportunity to expand their geriatric knowledge and skills and improve their care of older adults.

There are 3 focus areas within the Advanced Care of Older Adults Certification program. Learners may choose from the following concentrations:

Each Certificate includes an overview of aging, including common conditions, mental health, communication, ageism, caregiving, cultural issues, safety and legal issues, palliative/end of life issues and more. 

Health professionals will also gain important geriatric knowledge and skills specific to their occupations.
